Article Processing Charges

The Journal of Social, Political, and Economic Studies is a fully open-access journal, ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible online without any subscription or pay-per-view fees. Readers, researchers, and institutions can access the journal’s content at no cost.

However, the open-access publication process incurs various expenses, including maintaining the journal’s infrastructure, managing the peer-review process, editorial services, formatting, publishing, archiving, and ensuring the long-term accessibility of published research. To sustain these operations, the journal applies Article Processing Charges (APC), also referred to as Publication Fees. These charges are applicable only after a manuscript has successfully passed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication.

The Journal of Social, Political, and Economic Studies does not impose Article Submission Charges (Submission Fees) at the time of manuscript submission. Additionally, there are no extra charges for page count, color figures, or other elements that some publishers may charge separately. The only fee required is the Article Processing Charge (APC) of $380 per article, which is payable only upon acceptance of the manuscript.
