Abstract:
Purpose: Change is the only constant in life and inevitable. The rate of change becomes faster and may provide a shorter operation or business cycle. This paper qualitatively reviews and discusses three key words – derived from the intersection between leadership, knowledge management, and change management – to face the dynamics of rapid environmental change.

Data collection: Data is collected through many sources including articles and text books related with leadership, change management, and knowledge management with few cases highlighted in the paper. The analysis is done by emphasizing the importance of the three key words and the three Q, summarized manually to come up with a conclusion – through manual data analysis procedure/MDAP, Saldana, 2013.

Result: The paper further shows that the intersection between leadership, change management (CM), and knowledge management (KM) is the integral-parts of organizational transformation within the context of leader and navigating change (Deloittes’2024), transformational change & transformative leadership (Jerab & Mabrouk, 2022), and agile leadership (Joiner & Joseph, 2007, Kareem, 2020).

Originality/specialty. Some cases pointed out in this paper provide specific application of leadership or change management or knowledge management in line with transformational change, toward organizational success, outcome, or performance.

Keywords:
leadership, knowledge management, change management, environmental change.
